About Keeper of the Grumper Foundation

Keeper of the Grumper Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to electronics recycling, refurbishment, responsible reuse, and secure data destruction. Proceeds from our operations help support youth leadership programs, community activities, and educational opportunities.
We are looking for a dependable and motivated E-Commerce Associate / Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team. This position combines warehouse operations, driving, electronics handling, inventory, and e-commerce responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

E-Commerce & Inventory

  • Photograph electronics and other merchandise for online listings.
  • Create accurate and detailed product listings.
  • Research product information, model numbers, and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Organize merchandise for retail and online sales.
  • Package and ship customer orders.
  • Process incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Help maintain an organized and clean warehouse and work area.
  • Follow company procedures for listing photographs and product descriptions.

Driving & Pickups

  • Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Pick up donated electronics from businesses, schools, organizations, and community locations.
  • Load and unload electronics and other materials.
  • Secure materials properly during transportation.
  • Assist with commercial and community pickup events.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Forklift & Warehouse Operations

  • Operate a forklift safely and responsibly.
  • Load and unload pallets, electronics, and other materials.
  • Move inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Organize pallets and warehouse storage areas.
  • Assist with receiving shipments and donations.
  • Follow all company safety procedures.
  • Keep loading and warehouse areas clean and organized.

Electronics Recycling

  • Sort electronics for resale, refurbishment, parts, or recycling.
  • Identify equipment that may have resale value.
  • Handle electronics and recyclable materials safely.
  • Assist with processing donated equipment.
  • Follow procedures for equipment containing sensitive data.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, physically capable, and comfortable working in both a warehouse and computer-based environment.

Required:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn e-commerce systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a forklift.

Preferred:

  • Previous forklift experience.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Previous delivery or commercial driving experience.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • E-commerce experience.
  • Experience online marketplaces.
  • Experience handling electronics.
  • Previous inventory or shipping experience.

Pay & Benefits

$16–$20 per hour

Pay depends on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.
