We’re seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to support our e-commerce and recycling operations. This hybrid role involves managing online sales tasks and participating in hands-on recycling duties including driving our box truck and operating a forklift to load, unload, and palletize electronics.

Join our nonprofit organization and help make a positive environmental and community impact! We’re seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to support our e-commerce and recycling operations. This hybrid role involves managing online sales tasks and participating in hands-on recycling duties including driving our box truck and operating a forklift to load, unload, and palletize electronics.
You’ll be responsible for picking up donated electronics, sorting materials, building pallets, preparing items for resale, and helping maintain the smooth flow of daily operations.
Recycling & Warehouse Operations:
- Pick up donated or scheduled electronics using the organization’s box truck.
- Safely operate a forklift to move, sort, and organize pallets.
- Sort electronic devices by category for recycling, resale, or donation.
- Build, wrap, and stage pallets for processing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
E-Commerce Support:
- Assist with preparing electronics for online sale (cleaning, testing, labeling, data entry).
- Photograph and list items on online platforms as assigned.
- Package and ship orders in a timely manner.
- Help track inventory and update product information.
General Duties:
- Communicate professionally with donors, partners, and team members.
- Assist in establishing and improving workflow processes.
- Follow all safety, compliance, and environmental guidelines.
- Represent the foundation’s mission with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle (preferred, but willing to train).
- Forklift experience or certification (preferred; training available).
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
- Basic computer skills; comfortable learning e-commerce systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a background check.

Position Details:
- Job Type: Full-time (W-2 employee).
- Hours: 40 hours per week (7-8 hour shifts, Monday–Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM).
- Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience.

About Keeper of the Grumper Foundation
Keeper of the Grumper is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting youth leadership organizations. The Grumper works to raise funds via the recycling of electronics and other communication equipment, updating and repairing our stock before reselling it. Profits are collected to fund service projects, programs, and events to promote development of leadership and organizational skills sets, along side general skill workshops and internship opportunities. It is our hope to allow the next generation of workers and organizers to be prepared to move into the workforce as willing and able members of society that are skilled and contribute in group assignments, delegations, problem solving, and non-linear analysis.
